Artist's Statement

My inspiration came from paintings by Gustav Klimt: Beethoven Frieze—Happiness Finds Fulfillment in Poetry, Yearning for Happiness and Die Musik. Any performance is the end of a long journey for the composer, writer and choreographer. The beginning is the inspiration which is often the floating wisp of an idea.
