Artist's Statement

The four designs embody the four seasons. Spring is a riot of buttercups in the grass. Summer is entwined with morning glories. Autumn sees fire red chrysanthemums just starting to lose their petals. Winter is a scene of rosehips frosted with snow and crows against the pale blue sky.
