About Act One Guild

Members of the Act One Guild

It all began in June 2003 with three women holding an organizational meeting to exchange ideas and long-term goals in creating a fundraising arm for PACE. They set their sights high with the goal to be organized and in place by September 2003. The dream and vision became a reality, and the Act One Guild of the Performing Art Center Eastside was born – off and running with a membership of 33 enthusiastic, dedicated women experienced in fundraising. These women, diverse in education, experience, and age, represent the region at large: Kirkland, the Sammamish Plateau, Woodinville, Issaquah, Medina, Bellevue, Redmond, and Mercer Island.

The Guild's mission is: To propose, plan, organize, and implement events, performances, and activities that raise funds and support for PACE; to cultivate an environment of cultural awareness within the community that sparks and promotes the initiatives sponsored by PACE; and to foster an experience that is enriching and artistically edifying to all Act One Guild members.
