About Act One Guild
The purpose of the Act One Guild is to propose, plan, organize, and implement events, performances, and activities that raise funds and support to benefit Tateuchi Center; to cultivate an environment of cultural awareness within the community that sparks and promotes the initiatives sponsored by Tateuchi Center; and to foster an experience that is enriching and artistically edifying to all Act One Guild members.
All Tateuchi Center Guilds promote the Tateuchi Center mission through outreach activities and fundraising events that build strong relationships in the communities served.
Since their formation in 2003, the Act One Guild has produced the following events to benefit Tateuchi Center:
- 2004 Candlelight Dinner and Art Auction
Held at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue on October 23, 2004, the Act One Guild raised $244,000. - 2005 Candlelight Dinner—A Black & White Gala
Held on November 12, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue and raised $220,000. - 2006 Candlelight Dinner & Bucks For PACE Auction
Held in the Westin Bellevue at Lincoln Square on October 21, 2006 and raised $570,000. - 2007 Candlelight Dinner—Come Dance With The Stars
Held on November 3, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue and raised $320,000. - 2008 Candlelight Dinner & Bench Auction—Sitting Pretty For PACE
Held at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue on November 1, 2008 and raised $433,000. - 2009 Candlelight Dinner—A Toast to PACE: An Evening With Pink Martini
Held in the Hyatt Bellevue Grand Ballroom on November 7, 2009 and raised $350,000. - 2010 Candlelight Dinner—Act One Guild Presents The Future
